Södra Öland Parish (equivalent to Mörbylånga Municipality) consists of seven congregations with approximately 11,000 church members. We have 18 churches around the southern part of the island and Nådens chapel in Färjestaden. Here you will work with around 50 colleagues, of which about 15 are in the caretaking department. Due to the large number of churches and cemeteries, the caretaking department is divided into two areas, north and south. The northern work team is based in Torslunda and the southern work team is based in Södra Möckleby.

We are now looking for a church caretaker for the southern work team.

The position of church caretaker is very varied. The role involves outdoor work in the cemeteries with associated tasks such as maintenance of green areas, planting, and general care of cemetery environments. It also includes indoor work in the churches in connection with services, church ceremonies, concerts, and more. Weekend work may occur. In the southern work team, you often work alongside colleagues, so we see that you enjoy working in a team but can also handle independent work and have good initiative.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have a B driver's license, are a member of the Church of Sweden, and share the beliefs and values of the Church of Sweden.
